MOSSY Monday

" Velvet" rock...
in my garden.

This is part one of a fresh series. If you didn't read my R*E*A*L*LY long previous post, I noticed a lot of very neat green stuff popping up all over our property recently...I guess with all the rain and maybe deeper shade due to more mature trees, I have a ton of moss. Started snapping some photos, and in a matter of minutes had discovered enough for 10 or 12 MOSSY Mondays. I played around w/ macro and think I am finally getting the idea. So...enjoy the greenery! *elaine*

Moss is just one of many things that will not grow in my part of Texas for very long. I'll see it after a lot of rain...then poof...gone!

I love your moss! I have one spot where it grows between some stepping stone bricks, and my husband will rip it up and through it to the side. I come right behind him and push it back in where it was growing!
Happy Mossy Monday, and I'm looking forward to many more!

Congrats on your anniversary! And love your store front pics. The Mossy Monday idea is great, nature can put such great things out for us. Thanks for the comment on my blog and letting me know what kind of flower that was in the pic. We just moved in our new home this past winter and I had no idea what it was, didn't even think about it having flowers until it bloomed. Hope you have a good week and looking forward to more of the Mossy Monday.

Hey, Elaine. I didn't have an email address for you so I am answering your questions here. The foot is a plaster artist model. Done by some one to show that they could do a foot. It can be for sale, if that is what your asking. Email me with your inquiry and we can talk. No rafters. If I had rafters they would be hanging from them. No wall space either. That is why chairs are such a problem even though I like them. I hope that covers your questions. Thanks for coming by. I always enjoy your comments.
